Who can purchase your courses?

Our courses are designed for schools to purchase and use for their students. Students may not purchase these courses.

What are the Technical configurations needed on your computers for the online courses?

PC devices work best for our courses, I-pads and i-phones don’t work consistently with our ESL courses, due to the flash animation features, so please make sure your device is compatible with our courses.

What are licences and how do I get them?

Course licences are purchased to give your students access to the course you want to use.  Schools may purchase course licences after your school is enrolled and your administrator trained.  1 licence per student per course is required to access the course.  The teacher licence is free when a student licences is purchased.  To purchase a licence, contact the office and we will arrange payment and put them in your administrative portal to be activated for any course.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept PayPal, visa, master card, cheques and money orders. If additional forms of payment are required please contact our office.

How do I create usernames and passwords for my staff and students?

Only Portal Administrators can do this –The door to the courses and creating usernames and passwords is in the Portal guide,  If you have any problems creating users or courses, please contact our office.  Make sure you have a copy of the portal user guide, found in the Teacher’s Information section of the website.

How do I see my student’s grades?

To see the grades of your students, please go into the course and in the top left of the screen you will see GRADES. Click on that and you will see the names of your students and their grades. For more information specifically, please consult our Teacher Information link. If you would like more training on how to navigate your course, please contact our office to set up a time for a Skype training appointment.

How come I don’t see the student’s work coming into my in box in my email?

Please make sure your email is listed in the email section for the Teacher.  Ask your administrator to help you update this by going to the edit icon and putting in the correct email address.

Can I change the course if my student doesn’t like it or it’s the wrong ELL Level?

Yes, you have 30 days to make a change. Simply remove your student from the class and a licence should be returned to your portal. 

How long are the course licences good for?

Licences are good for 1 year from activation. Once a student is enrolled in a course, the licence is activated, and the teacher has 30 days to make a change should the student change their minds about taking the course or the teacher wants to remove the student. If the teacher removes the student from the course within 30 days of activation, the course licence will be returned to the portal account. After 30 days there is no refund on an unused activated licences.
